i have joined the world of people with decent computers! i love it. it's shiney and new and fast and cool. AND i have high-speed wireless internets! lovely. so i can upload pictures once i figure it out. and take my 'puter anywhere in the house.

pup has been pretty good lately, but peeing inside again. so i've given her about .25 mg pred at each meal time. it seems to help, and gives her more energy. my yahoo chat group for addison dogs gave me that tip - they are invaluable.

work has been stressful, but it comes and goes. winter is the slower season, so i'm hoping to get more work done, but we shall see. i'm getting lots of mixed messages - take vacation but never leave, why wasn't this finished even though i never asked you to do it, that sort of torture. i'm looking, that's for sure...

ooo, and i sold my first craigslist thingy! kind of nice, but now i'm wanting to find other things to get rid of.

now if i can just keep pup from slobbering on my new computer...

catching up with the joneses

i have done it. tonight i ordered my very first, very own computer. a laptop. gonna get wi-fi. the one i use now is achingly slow. it was time to be a part of the community of techno-savants.

i'm also on the verge of getting a cell phone. m is doing research into pay as you go's, and he did all the research on the 'puter, too. and ordered it for me. what a god man.

all this technology is getting me a little giddy - thrilled to be getting new toys, but aprehensive that this is taking me down a very dangerous road. what's next? a new printer? a zip drive? a thumb drive? brain implants? too many toys, is what's goin on.

but what FUN!
