school days

I'm back in school! I'm going for my second undergrad degree, a BS in Biz, hoping to get better credentials for my current job, and the possibility of a better job and better salary. An a messier house, but that's beside the point.

I was hesitant to start one of these. I didn't want to admit that the corporate world would be my occupation for the long run. I still had hope I'd be in the arts somewhere. But that would require living like a student again, and I really love my little house.

so I'm learning how to site references, and respond to posts my classmates have submitted, and writing papers and completing reading assignments. I get nervous as I hit the "submit" button, and I glow with pride when I get good grades. I wish I could take more classes at the same time to get through faster - maybe over the winter, when I have less yard work to do.

by the way, I mowed my lawn today. the earliest in 4 years. And we expected (and didn't get!) snow over the weekend. what crazy weather we're having.

Good grief! You must have more energy than 5 "normal" woman.. always building, planting, painting, hiking and now going back to school?

Pardon me while I nap.

Anyway.. trip worked out fine. Eating was indeed an issue.. he would not eat his regular dry food, but I had brought plenty of his raw diet along, and he did eat that. You were so right! He takes 1 mg pred a day usually, I gave him 3...
The last day when we were walking up the sidewalk to my daughters house he was whimpering. I had been toying with the idea of staying overnight one more time.. but at Amy's.. his whimpering and my Amy's obvious level of exhaustion made me decide to head home.

It was a good trip, and now I know he can handle it if need be. Scary stuff though..

Good luck with this new undertaking!
